Pillar 02 — IT Automation & Data
PMS & Channel Integrations
Every system, talking to every other system.
Overview
What we build.
The average independent hotel runs on six to eight different software tools — a PMS, channel manager, accounting platform, payment processor, multiple OTA extranets, a booking engine and probably a spreadsheet or two holding everything together. The problem isn't the tools. It's that they don't talk to each other.
We connect every system that runs a hotel into a single, coherent operational platform — eliminating manual reconciliation, reducing errors and giving leadership a unified view of the business.
Section 01
The Problem with Disconnected Systems
- Manual data entry in multiple systems for the same reservation
- Rate inconsistencies across channels leading to lost revenue
- Overbookings when channel inventory isn't synced in real time
- Reconciliation nightmares at month-end
- Reporting blind spots because no single system has the full picture
- Staff frustration with redundant, repetitive work
Section 02
What We Integrate
Property Management Systems (PMS)
We integrate with leading platforms — Cloudbeds, Opera, RoomKeyPMS, Innkeeper and others — pulling reservation data, room status, guest profiles and folio details into our internal systems.
Online Travel Agencies (OTAs)
Booking.com, Expedia, Airbnb, Hotels.com, Agoda and direct booking engines. We sync inventory, rates and reservations across every channel in real time, preventing overbookings.
Channel Managers
SiteMinder, Cloudbeds Channel Manager and others. We integrate at the channel-manager layer to centralize control of distribution.
Payment Processors
Stripe, Square, Authorize.net and traditional merchant accounts. Integrations route payments correctly, handle refunds and ensure transactions flow into the right accounting categories.
Accounting Platforms
QuickBooks Online, Xero and similar tools. We push daily revenue, expenses and reconciliation data automatically — eliminating manual bookkeeping entries.
Reporting & Analytics
Power BI, Tableau, Looker and Google Sheets dashboards — we funnel data from every operational system into a single analytical view.
Section 03
How We Approach Integrations
Map the Data Flow First
Before any technical work begins, we map exactly how data should flow across systems — what lives where, what's the source of truth and what triggers updates.
Build on Reliable APIs
We use official APIs wherever possible. When official APIs don't exist or are limited, we build robust middleware that handles edge cases gracefully.
Plan for Failure
Every integration is built assuming something will fail eventually. Monitoring, alerting and retry logic are built in from day one.
Test in Production-Like Conditions
We test integrations with real data volumes and real edge cases before going live. No "it worked on my machine" surprises.
Document Everything
Every integration is documented — what it does, how it's configured, what to do if it breaks and who owns it.
Section 04
Integration Challenges We've Solved
- OTA inventory desync during peak booking periods
- Rate parity violations that hurt direct bookings
- Refund and chargeback workflows spanning PMS, payments and accounting
- Multi-property reporting across different PMS instances
- Reservation modifications that need to update three or four systems
- Tax handling across multiple jurisdictions and rate types
